A systematic procedure that allows Extension staff to self-assess their competence in each of the 10 core areas.
C-CAP Plus is a computer program designed to assist in the task of self-assessment. The program provides a large base of self-assessment questions that Extension Staff can easily access. It is self-scoring, and it is possible for the Extension Educator to use the program over and over again - each time being able to identify the areas of strength and the areas of weakness and easily chart progress over time. C-CAP forms a major building block for THE EXTENSION EDUCATOR.

Why won't the mouse work?
Though you are using C-CAP on your windows computer, it is really a DOS program. What this means is that you won't be needing your mouse to navigate the program.
You can respond to lettered items by merely typing that letter on your computer. Or you can move through a list of lettered items with your arrow keys.
What password should I use on C-CAP?
You can choose whatever password you would like to use (it doesn't have to be the same one you use for email). By having a password on the C-CAP program it allows multiple users to use the same computer/program without having access to each other's scores. Every time you use C-CAP you should use the same name and password. This will permit you to always review your prior C-CAP scores. IMPORTANT: Don't forget your password!
