Star Astronomy: Lifecycles of the hot and gassy! Workshop
Delve into the mysteries of outer space as you investigate the lifecycle of a star. simulate a black hole, astro-blast a supernova and learn about phenomena scientists still can't explain! As you immerse yourself in the inner-workings of masses of incandescent gasses, you'll discover just how strage astronomy can be!

Strange Matter Exhibition
(Pacific Science Center's feature exhibit available February 2 - May 4). Over a dozen hands-on experiences and exhibits give you a close encounter with the incredible world of modern materials and materials science. Check out the fascinating metal liquids, glass that withstands the smashing force of a bowling ball, and the amazing "scope on a rope" to see things closer than ever.

What To Bring
Camp-In is for one night only, so we recommend that you travel lightly.
• Sleeping pad and bag
• Toiletries (basic necessities only)
• Comfortable clothing that is appropriate for the weather and that you can wear overnight
• Flashlight
• Money for the Pacific Science Center Explore More Store

Registration is through WSU Extension, 4-H. Please complete the registration form online, and send--along with full payment--to:

Registration must be postmarked by March 28, 2008. Cancellation: Full refund will be given if cancellation is received prior to March 28, 2008. There will be no refunds if cancellation is received after April 2, 2008.

An informtion packet will be sent to you prior to your scheduled Camp-In. It is also available in pdf format on our website at pacificsciencecenter.org/camp-in. This packet will include information for adults, a roster form and liability forms. Pacific Science Center will collect these forms from your group leader upon arrival.

Bring home your Camp-In experience with a Camp-In 2008 T-shirt! Pre-order your t-shirt online or purchase t-shirts when you arrive for $10 each. For advance purchases visit pacificsciencecenter.org/camp-in.

Meal Service
An evening snack and brown bag breakfast are provided and served outside next to Pacific Science Center’s fountains. Special diets are the responsibility of individual campers. Please dress appropriately for the weather and be prepared to eat outside. Dinner is not served at Camp-In, please eat before you come!
