Free Presentation on backyard poultry and pigs and invasive weed removal
--Robyn Adair
Want chickens or pigs? Are you jealous of your friends' cute baby chicks and abundance of fresh eggs, straight from their backyard? Or have you always wanted a Wilbur of your own for your small farm? Check out this free workshop!
Thurston County 4-H is sponsoring this free two-in-one workshop featuring local gurus from Left Foot Organics and Native Plant Salvage Project on April 24 at 6:30 PM at the Thurston Co. Public Health building, 412 Lilly Rd. NE, Olympia.
Are weeds ruining your life? Many areas of Thurston County , including backyards and local parks, have been swarmed by the obnoxious invasive weeds such as the brooms, English ivy, and others. How does one rescue a beloved lawn, local park, or the garden one has raised from seed? The second part of this workshop will show you the steps to invasive removal so you can fight back.
Don't miss this rare free opportunity to get your questions answered so you can get started this spring! For questions or more information contact Thurston County 4-H, 360-786-5445 ext. 7913.
