Robot Battles Inventive and Fun for Whitman County Campers
Engineering and technology turn Legos into robots
Building and programming robots turned out to be lots of fun for a group of Whitman County youth. During an August week-long camp kids ages seven to sixteen used the Lego Mindstrom NXT computer program to design robots to see, hear and respond to commands. Using math, problem solving, and teamwork the students had “bot battles” where they put their finished robots to the test!
