Spread the Warmth

Warm blankets are on the way to children who need extra comfort.  Members of the Nuestra Familia Bilingüe 4-H Club in Skagit County put the finishing touches on fleece blankets which will go to local youth impacted by fires, illness or other emergencies.   Under the guidance of 4-H leader Elisabeth Satterlee, members tied pieces of fringe together to create a double layer of protection.  The blankets are part of the Linus Project which provides handmade blankets to children around the country.
