How long have you been at the county office?
Three years.
Where did you grow up?
I moved from Los Angeles to Tenino when I was 12.
Favorite activities/interests:
Reading, watching TV, hand needlework, Pub-Quiz Trivia.
What do you enjoy most about working in 4-H?
Being involved in this youth development program is extremely rewarding as you can actually see how adult involvement in a child’s life can make a big difference. I also enjoy working with the adult volunteers with a like mind towards youth and getting to know the children and their personalities.
How have you seen 4-H help youth as they develop and grow?
I personally know of several 4-H alumni who now, as adults, either lead their own clubs or return as volunteers to State 4-H programs and are physically demonstrating how to give back to a community with their personal time.
