The WA State 4-H Advisory Board is pleased to announce a Fund Raising opportunity for all 4‑H entities within the state of Washington; County Councils, Associations, Projects, & Clubs.
At the WA State Forum this October, the Advisory Board will be selling “My Champion” at the low price of $15 each. This delightful children’s book and CD, written by a former 4-H Coordinator, has a cover price of $22.95. The Advisory Board has graciously agreed to offer the books to county entities at the wholesale price of $11 each, for their resale at the $15 price. A $4 profit can be realized for every book sold.
My Champion is a beautifully written and beautifully illustrated book for children and grownups alike. The inspirational story captures the sense of self-worth. Two friends, a girl and her horse, each want more from life and each grows to find that the true self is the worthy self. The marvelous majesty of the draft horse named Star and the freedom-loving child, Tess, fills the reader’s heart with optimism and joy. The bravery and the honesty of this book cannot be denied. This is a storybook that will be loved by families and children for decades, with one generation passing it on to the next. Wholesale books must be purchased in cases of 31 or boxes of 12 only. They will be delivered to the WA State Forum in October for pick-up at no charge. If books are needed prior to October, cases can be shipped for an additional $20.00 each and boxes for an additional $12.00 each. Special arrangements may also be made for pick-up in Everett, WA at no charge.
